Nigeria's Housing Minister Assumes Chairmanship of Shelter Afrique AGM Bureau

Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Nigeria's new Minister for Housing and Urban Development, has assumed the chairmanship of Shelter Afrique's Annual General Meeting (AGM) Bureau, succeeding Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Dangiwa's first task is to chair Shelter Afrique's Extraordinary General Meeting in October 2023 in Algiers, Algeria, where revised statutes will be approved. He will also oversee the Company's 43rd AGM in Kigali, Rwanda, next year.

Dangiwa is assisted by Rwanda's Minister for Infrastructure, Dr. Ernest Nsabimana, and Algeria's Minister for Housing, Urban Planning, and City, Mr. Mohamed Tarek Belaribi.

Shelter Afrique's Board Chairperson, Dr. Chii Akporji, welcomed Dangiwa and sought Nigeria's support in meeting its outstanding capital subscription of US$21 million.
