Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat has secured a second term as President of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), receiving strong support with 800 votes, while his opponent, Moses Byamugisha, garnered only 187 votes.

During the National Executive Committee (NEC) elections held at Lugogo, Nathan Nandala Mafabi was elected as the new Secretary General of the party, running unopposed.

Additionally, Geoffrey Ekanya has been re-elected as the Treasurer General for his second term, prevailing over Akello Lucy Franca. Ajuna Daka has assumed the role of National Mobilizer, and John Kikonyogo is now the Party spokesperson.

These developments mark key changes in FDC’s leadership, with a mix of experienced individuals continuing their roles and new faces stepping into significant positions within the party.
