KAMPALA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — The Tecno Pova Neo Android smartphone has been released in Nigeria as an entry-level handset. Available in three different colors, the phone includes dual rear cameras, the primary of which is a 13-megapixel sensor.
Tecno Pova Neo has a 120Hz refresh rate display and comes with a 6,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone battery is said to have a talk time of 40 hours and a music playback time of 24 hours.
This phone is the successor to the Tecno Pova 2 which was launched in June.
A Tecno Pova Neo device can be purchased in Nigeria from Jumia.com for NGN 75,500 (roughly UGX 629,540). No details are available on the official website of Tecno in Nigeria.
This smartphone comes in a single 4GB + 64GB storage configuration, it’s available in Geek blue, Obsidian, and Powehi colors, and it runs Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 on top.
At this time, there are no details about the official launch and price of the Tecno Pova Neo in Uganda and other global markets.
Tecno’s latest smartphone comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ resolution (720×1,640 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 84.8% screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 262 PPI. Its display has a hole punch for the selfie camera.
This new Tecno handset is equipped with an unknown octa-core MediaTek chipset, along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
