Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — FUFA (Federation of Uganda Football Association) has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Put Paul Joseph as the head coach of the Uganda Cranes. He has signed a two-year renewable contract and was unveiled at a media event at the FUFA Complex.

FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim and FUFA CEO Edgar Watson were present at the announcement. President Magogo explained that the appointment followed a rigorous process where over 150 coaches, including two Ugandans, applied for the position. After a thorough analysis, Mr. Put Paul Joseph was selected to lead the Uganda Cranes.

In a departure from previous practice, the coach has been granted the authority to appoint his own technical staff. Mr. Put is set to bring five additional staff members from Belgium, and Ugandans will also be part of the backroom staff in areas such as medical, coaching, and management.
