Uganda Cranes Star Taddeo Lwanga Loses Father After Brave Health Battle

Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Taddeo Lwanga, the Uganda Cranes and APR FC star, announced the passing of his father, Mzee Vincent Mukasa, on December 11, 2023. Mr. Mukasa succumbed to a long-term illness after undergoing five surgeries in two months. Lwanga shared the news on X, expressing admiration for his father’s resilience.

In response to the loss, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) offered condolences to Lwanga and his family, expressing sympathy for the death of Mr. Mukasa. Rwanda’s APR, Lwanga’s current club, also conveyed their support on X.

As of now, the burial arrangements for Mzee Vincent Mukasa have not been disclosed. Taddeo Lwanga, born on May 21, 1994, is the third and youngest child of Vincent Mukasa and Jane Namande. He is the sole son in the family.
