Ready for Young, Famous & African season 3? Netflix just dropped a fire trailer for the next chapter of Africa’s hottest reality series, and let me tell you—it’s looking wild. The new season lands on 17 January 2025, promising eight episodes packed with drama, luxury, and all the chaos we secretly love. Expect fractured marriages, shaky friendships, and new sparks flying. Spoiler: it’s all leading to premium tears.
There’s some new energy in the mix this time around. South African content creator Kefilwe Mabote, Nollywood queen Ini Edo, and Zari Hassan’s husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya, are joining the cast. And don’t worry—the OG crew is still here. You’ll see Zari Hassan, Swanky Jerry, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ, Kayleigh Schwark, Fantana, Luis Munana, Nadia Nakai, and Khanyi Mbau stirring the pot once again.
One big shake-up: South African TV star Bonang Matheba won’t be back for season 3. But judging by the trailer, the drama is still dialed all the way up.
The show’s creators, Peace Hyde and Martin Asare Amankwa, are back too, keeping the magic alive through Urban Brew Studios and Apop Media. Jwalane Letaba is the showrunner this season, and if history is anything to go by, they’re about to deliver a masterclass in reality TV.
In past seasons, Young, Famous & African blended glitz, ego clashes, and surprising moments of vulnerability, giving us viral moments and plenty to talk about. This season looks no different—it’s still Africa’s ultimate reality fix.
Mark your calendar: 17 January 2025. It’s going to be messy, it’s going to be fabulous, and you won’t want to miss it.
