Ghana DJ Awards nominees for 2022 have been announced ahead of the main ceremony on 5 November at Silver Star Towers in Accra.
KAMPALA, UGANDA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — A list of the nominees for the Ghana DJ Awards for 2022 was released ahead of the main ceremony at the Silver Star Towers in Accra on 5 November, which will honor the best DJs in Ghana.
- This year’s nominees for the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards have been unveiled ahead of the main event which will take place at the Silver Star Towers in Accra on 5 November.
- DJ Vyrusky leads the Ghana DJ Awards 2022 with seven nods, including Best DJ of the Year, which he won last year. DJ Mic Smith is next with six nods, followed by DJ Sly with four nods.
- Among the DJs nominated for the “Best International DJ” category at the Ghana DJ Awards in 2022 are DJ Neptune, DJ Obi, and Ms DSF. DJs from around the world who mix Ghana music into their sets will be honored in this category, with nominees from the United States, UK, Belgium, and for the first time ever, two nominees from the Netherlands.

The Ghana DJ Awards, now in their 10th year, are an annual event which highlights and rewards the contributions that the country’s DJs have made to music distribution and promotion, as well as public entertainment over the past decade.
With 28 categories this year, the Ghana DJ Awards will recognize outstanding musical accomplishments.
DJ Vyrusky leads the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards with seven nominations, including Best DJ of the Year, which he won last year. This is his fifth consecutive nomination in the coveted category. DJ Mic Smith scores six nods, and DJ Sly scores four.
With DJ Neptune, DJ Obi, and Ms DSF, Nigeria is well represented in the “Best International DJ” category at the Ghana DJ Awards 2022.
