An African payments technology company, Cellulant, has announced the appointment of Ibrahim Gbolahan Aminu as General Manager of its Nigerian operations.
LAGOS, NIGERIA| NOW THEN DIGITAL — Ibrahim Gbolahan Aminu has been appointed as General Manager of Cellulant in Nigeria, a leading Pan African payments technology company.
- Ibrahim will be responsible for managing and overseeing Cellulant’s day-to-day operations and acting as its lead as Cellulant expands the coverage of Tingg, Cellulant’s Digital Payments system, throughout Nigeria.
- Prior to this role, he held the position of General Manager for VigiPay at The Venture Garden Group, one of the largest technology holding companies in Africa.
- While working at Vigipay, Ibrahim managed the company’s cross-border payment platform, which ensured real-time payment termination into multiple corridors in Asia, Africa and Europe.
- A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, he holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Science. He holds certifications in fraud detection, prevention, and control, as well as project management.
As General Manager, Ibrahim will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and provide leadership as Cellulant expands its digital payment platform Tingg throughout Nigeria.
