“I am really honoured to be a part of such a great and important moment. Thank you to Apple Music for selecting me as the Up Next artist for South Africa.”, he said.
Raised in Mokopane near Polokwane, Roho’s musical upbringing drew from parents’ affection for soul legends like Anita Baker and Ella Fitzgerald. Fusing this foundation with his admiration for neo soul artists Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, he crafted a contemporary soul, evident in his debut album “Ephemeral” (2020).
