Backstreet Boys: who are they?

The Backstreet Boys are an American vocal group consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson.

They rose to fame in the late 1990s with their teen pop sound before maturing into adult-oriented pop. The band has released nine studio albums since 1993, including Millennium (1999) and DNA (2019).

With the success of their new album, the Backstreet Boys launched the DNA World Tour in May 2019, their biggest arena tour in 18 years.

The Backstreet Boys have been producing the highest quality pop music for 29 years, establishing them as a major influence on pop music.

BSB has achieved worldwide sales of over 130 million records, numerous awards and countless number-1 hits. This makes the band the best-selling boy band in history.

The group released DNA, their Grammy-nominated 10th studio album, in early 2019. DNA debuted at number one and includes the Top 10 hit Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.

This was BSB’s first Billboard Hot 100 hit in 10 years, and it earned the group a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Backstreet Boys kicked off The DNA World Tour, a worldwide arena tour that has seen the band sell out venues in North America, Europe, Asia and South America, thanks to the success of their new album.
