Lagos, Nigeria | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Get ready for the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 1. Big names like Rema, Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, and Tyla are in the running for the Best African Music Artist award.

Rema, leading the pack with nominations, is up for Song of the Year for ‘Calm Down,‘ his global hit with Selena Gomez. The track also made the cut for Best Collaboration and the new Pop Song of the Year category. Tyla’s breakout hit ‘Water’ is in the running for Best Lyrics and TikTok Bop of the Year.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards, now in its 12th year, will celebrate artists and songs that ruled iHeartRadio stations and the app in 2023. Expect live performances, exciting awards across various categories, and a sneak peek into the anticipated hits of 2024.

iHeartMedia president of entertainment enterprises John Sykes promises a night of celebration, sharing stories from the artists about their journeys to the top of the charts. Tom Poleman, iHeart Media chief programming officer, adds that the awards are a true reflection of what listeners love, and they’re thrilled to share the journey with music fans nationwide.
