Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi has announced the passing of her brother, Eddy Kim, also known as Prince Edward Freeman Kim. The cause of his death has not been disclosed in Juliana’s social media statement.
In her announcement on both X and Instagram, Juliana wrote, “With deep sorrow, the family of the Late Prince Gerald Manyindo announces the untimely death of their Son, brother, Husband, and father Prince EDWARD FREEMAN KIM which occurred this morning 1/11/2023.” She mentioned that burial arrangements are being made and a vigil would be held at his home in Kawanda.
Juliana comes from the Tooro royal family, and she and her siblings are first cousins to the reigning King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV. Her younger sister, Lara Kahunde, is an actress and Reality TV host known for the popular show “Our Perfect Wedding Uganda” on Pearl Magic Prime.
The news of Eddy Kim’s passing prompted an outpouring of condolences and support from Juliana’s friends and followers, including fellow artists like Vinka, Eddy Kenzo, Rema, Iryn Namubiru, Sheebah Karungi, Lilian Mbabazi, and others.
