Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Edirisa Musuuza, famously known as Eddy Kenzo, revealed his relationship with Phiona Nyamutoro, the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development, during a recent performance at Comedy Store.
Kenzo, while entertaining his audience at an Eid show, disclosed that he and Nyamutoro have a child together, confirming weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship.
Their romance had been the subject of much discussion on social media, with rumors suggesting not only their romantic involvement but also the existence of a child, a topic they had previously chosen not to address.
However, amidst his performance, Kenzo surprised his fans by openly acknowledging his bond with the minister, sparking cheers from the crowd.
“I just want to let you know that Honourable Phiona Nyamutoro is my personal person and we have a kid (child) together,” Kenzo said in a video shared by Galaxy TV.
Days prior to this revelation, Kenzo had mentioned during a TV interview that he was a father to other children besides his two known daughters, Maya and Aamal. Despite attempts to keep it private, rumors persisted about him fathering a child with Nyamutoro.
Their connection became more apparent when they were spotted together at a school event last month. Since then, they have been seen together frequently, displaying affection publicly.
Recently, Kenzo accompanied Nyamutoro to State House for the swearing-in ceremony of newly-appointed ministers, further solidifying their relationship in the public eye.
