Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Karole Kasita is gearing up for her upcoming concert on November 17th, diligently honing her performance skills in preparation for the big day. This announcement was officially made on September 25th, confirming the concert’s date.

The venue for this highly anticipated event will be the UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo. Additional details about the concert will be unveiled in the coming days.

This event, titled the ‘Chekecha’ concert, marks a significant milestone for Karole Kasita, as it will be her first major concert since her mini-concert at Fame Lounge in December 2019. Fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to witness her electrifying performances and hear her chart-topping hits.

Karole Kasita is renowned for her energetic stage presence, making her one of Uganda’s most dynamic female performers. Despite her established reputation, she is leaving nothing to chance. She has already commenced rehearsals, ensuring that this will be a concert “not to miss.” Mentally, she feels well-prepared as the countdown to the event continues.

Now, let’s delve into Karole Kasita’s background. Born Karole Kabajulizi on April 25, 1989, in Kampala, Uganda, she has carved a name for herself as a musician, singer, and songwriter. Her rise to fame came on the heels of her hit tracks, including “Binyuma,” which received extensive airplay on radio and television stations across the country.

Karole Kasita pursued her high school education at St. Joseph’s College in Naggalama. Upon graduating from high school, she enrolled at Makerere University Business School in Nakawa, a suburb of Kampala, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.

Karole’s musical journey began during her high school years when she started composing and performing her own songs for classmates and friends. After completing her studies at Makerere University, she decided to transform her passion for music into a full-fledged career.

Her debut track, “Bounce It,” a collaboration with fellow Ugandan musician Nutty Neithan, was released in 2016 and quickly became a hit. This success paved the way for more chart-toppers like “Binyuma.” Most of Karole Kasita’s songs are self-penned, although she collaborated with Ugandan musician Ray Signature on some.

Karole Kasita also founded the SNS band, which provides support during her live performances. Despite occasional criticism for her on-stage attire, she remains steadfast in her commitment to being authentic and true to herself.

Karole Kasita serves as an inspiration to young people, particularly aspiring female artists, demonstrating that with determination and talent, they can achieve their dreams in the music industry.
