Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Ugandan songstress Lydia Nabawanuka, popularly known as Lydia Jazmine, has unveiled the official date for her debut concert. After a decade-long wait, her fans can now mark their calendars for the much-anticipated event scheduled for March 1, 2024.
Despite her illustrious career spanning over a decade, Lydia Jazmine has never had the chance to headline her own concert. Various challenges, including parting ways with her management and the disruptive impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, thwarted her previous attempts.
Now, the “You and Me” singer is convinced that the time is ripe to quench her fans’ thirst for a live concert experience. She made this exciting announcement via her social media channels while in Canada for music performances.
In her heartfelt message, Lydia Jazmine expressed her gratitude to her supporters and conveyed her mixed emotions of excitement and nervousness. She urged fellow artists and event promoters to refrain from scheduling other events on the same day, emphasizing that March 1, 2024, is exclusively reserved for her concert.
