Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Soroti-born media personality and singer Ahlam Ismail, popularly known as Lamu, has publicly announced her transition to NTV Uganda after leaving her position at Vision Group’s XFM. Lamu shared the news on social media, specifically on X (formerly Twitter), expressing her excitement about the “next exciting adventure” in her career.

The media personality is set to host the ‘NTV Travels’ show at her new workplace, Serena Hotel-based NTV Uganda. Lamu, known for her vibrant presence, will take viewers on a journey across various parts of Uganda, showcasing the beauty of the country.

Before joining NTV, Lamu co-hosted the #thexzit show with Denzel on XFM, where she had been a part of the team for nearly a year. Her versatility in the media industry has now led her to the role of showcasing the diverse landscapes and attractions of Uganda in her new position at NTV.

In addition to her media career, Lamu was crowned Miss Earth Uganda at Nyaika Hotel in Fort Portal on September 30, 2021, by the Queen Mother of Tooro, Best Kemigisha. Lamu’s move to NTV marks a new chapter in her journey, and she is poised to bring her unique energy and enthusiasm to ‘NTV Travels.’

Here’s to the next exciting adventure of my life 💚🙈 #lamusounds for #NTVTravels coming soon to @ntvuganda pic.twitter.com/3mD2Mk68fs
