DJ Vyrusky won the Best DJ (Southern Zone) and DJ of the Year awards at the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards held at Silver Star Towers in Accra on 5 November.
KAMPALA, UGANDA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — On Saturday, November 5, the winners of the Ghana DJ Awards 2022 were announced from Silver Star Towers in Accra. DJ Vyrusky was one of the winners of two awards: the Best DJ (Southern Zone) and DJ of the Year.
- A celebration of Ghana’s DJ community was held from Silver Star Towers in Accra on 5 November. DJ Vyrusky was crowned Best DJ (Southern Zone) and DJ of the Year.
- In the category of ‘Best international DJ’, DJ 4Korners (Canada) was named the winner, beating out Neptune (Nigeria), Ms DSF (Nigeria), DJames (UK), DJ Obi (Nigeria), and DJ Zamani (UK).

Ghana DJ Awards, which are organized by Merqury Republic, celebrate the contributions of DJs to Ghanaian music. The awards are now in their tenth edition.
At the Ghana DJ Awards, DJ Vyrusky emerged, once again, as the biggest winner of the night, taking home the trophies for Best DJ (Southern Zone) and DJ of the Year. This was Vyrusky’s DJ of the Year’s fifth win at the Ghana DJ Awards.
In the category of ‘Best international DJ,’ DJ 4Korners (Canada) beat out the likes of Neptune from Nigeria, DJames from the UK, DJ Obi from Nigeria, and DJ Zamani from the UK.
