KAMPALA, UGANDA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Prominent media figure and seasoned politician, Sir Simon Muyanga Lutaaya, has announced his departure from Baba TV.
After close to two years of service, Muyanga Lutaaya, who initially joined Baba TV after leaving NBS TV in Naguru, made the decision just 48 hours following his appointment as General Manager at Baba Television, a role he took on after serving as the Quality Assurance Manager.
He chose to reveal his resignation from the BABA Media Group at the conclusion of his well-received show, The Big Story, during which he hosted political analyst Tamale Mirundi on their weekly program.
Expressing gratitude on his Twitter page, he acknowledged the challenges he faced during his tenure. In a humorous vein, he remarked that, in his view, the leadership dynamics across different media outlets appeared strikingly similar.
Muyanga Lutaaya now appears poised to channel his efforts into personal ventures, with the possibility of pursuing his political ambitions in the future.
