Kampala, Uganda — Controversial singer Alien Skin is now wanted by police in connection with the death of his music group member, Wilfred Namuwaya. Authorities say the case marks a new escalation in the artist’s troubled career.

Police Accuse Singer of Ordering Attack

Investigators allege that on September 20, 2025, Namuwaya was abducted from his home in Ndeeba by a man identified as Musomali, an associate of Fangone Forest. Police say Musomali acted on direct instructions from Alien Skin.

According to police reports, the singer allegedly ordered his team to “punish” Namuwaya for leaving the group without approval.

Namuwaya was later found abandoned in Mpomba Zone and rushed to Mulago Hospital by a passerby. He died on September 22 from his injuries.

Police spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango confirmed the development:

Alien Skin, born Patrick Mulwana, has built a reputation for controversy in Uganda’s music and political scenes.

In December 2024, he was remanded to Luzira Prison after a video surfaced showing his group attacking guards and medical staff at Nsambya Hospital. He was later charged with robbery, accused of stealing an iPhone 15 Pro, Shs480,000 in cash, and a national ID. The case was set for hearing in early December.

Fellow musician Pius “Pallaso” Mayanja initially defended him, saying ghetto youth were being unfairly targeted. But their relationship quickly soured.

In January 2025, Pallaso allegedly led a raid on Alien Skin’s home in Makindye, leaving property destroyed and several people injured. Witnesses said the singer hid in the ceiling to escape.

Alien Skin has also been linked to political violence, with accusations that he mobilized gangs to attack opposition supporters at their Makerere Kavule headquarters in late 2024.

Public Appeal for Information

Police are now calling on the public to help track down Alien Skin and his known associates — Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo.

“The investigation is ongoing,” Onyango added. “We urge anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts to come forward.”

Alien Skin’s alleged role in Namuwaya’s death has sparked widespread calls for accountability within Uganda’s entertainment industry, with many warning that unchecked violence around musicians poses a threat to public safety.
