Singer Azawi Returns With a Deluxe Version of ‘African Music’ Album

Azawi, one of Uganda's most promising young afro-fusion artists, has released 'African Music', a deluxe edition of her debut album.

Singer Azawi has released her ‘African Music Deluxe album’ which features top artists such as Nigeria’s Chike, Bensoul of the soul generation (Sauti Sol) and DJ Neptune. 

KAMPALA | NOW THEN DIGITAL  — As part of her African Music Deluxe album, singer Priscilla Zaweddde alias Azawi has teamed up with top artists such as Nigerian artist Chike, Bensoul of the Sol generation (Sauti Sol) and DJ Neptune.

  • In support of her debut album ‘African Music’, Priscilla Zaweddde alias Azawi, one of Uganda’s most promising young afro-fusion acts, has released a new deluxe version of it.
  • A lot of critical praise has already been given to this album, and 98% of Google reviews show it to be a good album.
  • The album includes 20 tracks with a total playing time of 1 hour and 6 minutes, along with eight collaborations with other artists.
  • The singer has also announced a maiden show to be held next month in Kampala, Uganda. Her maiden concert comes before Sheebah Karungi’s biggest 2022 concert.

The deluxe album has been receiving massive streams. Currently, the musician is gearing up for his maiden concert called the ‘African Music Concert‘.

Azawi is already a household name among Ugandans. She has topped the charts and has been hailed as one of the country’s best singers. 

Besides being a rising star, Azawi has a growing fan base and is proving that she has no limits.

The deluxe edition of African Music came out last Friday and has been getting a lot of hype. The expanded edition contains the video for the single ‘Bamututte‘, which is taken from the original album. 

While the video was not as spectacular as the music, the storyline of this song is intriguing. It tells a three-part story about Azawi’s love life, a love affair, and losing a lover.

This deluxe album is expected to be a huge success, bringing fans from around the world to the original album. 

Azawi’s debut album, ‘African Music’, was featured on a Times Square billboard in New York, joining Eddy Kenzo, Bobi Wine and Spice Diana. 

This album has already received high praise from critics and good Google reviews with 98% of users recommending it.

The deluxe album edition is an impressive achievement for this emerging artist.

There are 20 songs on the album, with 1 hour and 6 minutes of playtime, including eight collaborations with other artists. 

The deluxe album is available on different streaming services. 

Streaming of the African Music deluxe album can be done on various music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Pandora, and Apple Music.
