Cape Town, South Africa | NOW THEN DIGITAL — South African R&B singer Filah Lah Lah inked a deal with Sony Music Entertainment Africa. Beyond music, she shares her creative process in the ‘Filah’s Thoughts’ series, offering glimpses and song teasers.

Sony Latest Signing

Born Reabetswe Fila Ranamane, her musical passion ignited through her father’s influence, introducing her to artists like Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye.

Despite studying law, Filah Lah Lah launched her music career in 2019 with the debut single ‘Feels Like,’ a tribute to jazz greats. Her decisions in music reflect her pursuit of happiness and individuality.

Anticipating her visual masterpiece ‘On Air,’ fans can explore self-discovery through her new single ‘Call Me.’ The track, part of the upcoming album ‘On Air,’ merges soulful R&B with pop elements, offering a unique sonic experience. ‘Call Me’ coincides with the album’s pre-order, featuring other tracks like ‘She’s Got to Go (Intro)’ and ‘Change or Find Out.’
