MultiChoice Uganda has brought back their popular Step-Up campaign, and it’s great news for DStv and GOtv subscribers. This offer gives you the chance to move up to the next package level for free. Yep, you upgrade, and they take care of the rest.

The promotion is running now through March 31, 2025, and it’s perfectly timed for January when budgets are tight after the holidays. It’s MultiChoice’s way of making sure you can still enjoy premium entertainment without stretching your wallet.

How it works

If you’re already a subscriber—active or even disconnected—you just need to pay for the next higher package than the one you’re currently on. Once you do, MultiChoice will automatically upgrade you to an even better package. If you’re new to DStv or GOtv, your starting package will count as your base level for the upgrade.

And here’s the best part: You don’t have to jump through hoops. Just use the MyDStv or MyGOtv app, visit their website, or head to your local customer center to make the upgrade. MultiChoice promises the upgrade will happen within 48 hours after payment. If not, they’ll sort it out as quickly as possible once you notify them.

Why it’s a great deal

Patricia Kiconco, MultiChoice Uganda’s head of Customer Value Management, said it best:
“We understand that the start of the year can be tough for many of our customers. The Step Up Tukwambuse promotion is our way of ensuring that our customers can enjoy premium content and richer entertainment at no extra cost. This is the perfect opportunity to explore new content, from blockbuster movies and local dramas to exciting sports and kids’ entertainment.”
