Bigirimana disclosed that the court has identified a new building for relocation, effective October 1, 2023.

Bigirimana disclosed in an interview on August 24, 2023, that the judiciary has secured a new facility for the court, and the move is scheduled for October 1, 2023.

“The Anti-Corruption Court is reallocating to Plot 5 Lourdel Road, in Nakasero where the Supreme Court is currently housed. It is more conducive and up to the standards,” said Bigirimana.

The new location for the Anti-Corruption Court will be at Plot 5 Lourdel Road, Nakasero, where the Supreme Court is currently situated. This move is intended to provide a more suitable and standardized environment for its operations.

Additionally, the Supreme Court will also shift to a new building, constructed by the Judiciary on Plot 2, sharing premises with the High Court.

The Anti-Corruption Court has been situated in Kololo since its establishment in 2008. It was founded by the Judiciary in response to governmental and institutional calls for more robust measures against corruption.
