The news was announced by the French music certification organization, the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), through their social media platform on 11 September.

A Track from Ayra Starr’s Debut Album

‘Rush’ was initially released last year under the Mavin Global label led by Don Jazzy. It was featured as part of the deluxe version of Ayra Starr’s debut album, ’19 & Dangerous,’ which also includes a remix of the focus track ‘Bloody Samaritan’ featuring American R&B singer Kelly Rowland.

This achievement comes exactly a year after fellow Mavin artist Rema’s single ‘Calm Down’ received a diamond certification in France.

Massive Online Presence

On YouTube, ‘Rush’ has garnered an impressive 232 million streams and has previously received platinum and silver certifications in Canada and the UK, respectively.
