Omah Lay, a Nigerian singer, has finally released the much-anticipated song ‘Woman’ from his next album, ‘Boy Alone’ which is slated to be released on June 24th.
KAMPALA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Nigerian singer, Omah Lay, releases a new track titled “Woman”, in anticipation of the release of his debut album “Boy Alone”, which is set to be released on June 24th.
- In “Woman”, Omah Lay offers a glimpse into the kind of music he wants to deliver on his debut album Boy Alone, set for release on June 24th.
- He released “Free My Mind” in November, and “Understand”, the album’s smash hit from July, was a contemplative, yet danceable song powered by his trademark warmth.
- In 2021, he was featured on Masterkraft’s remix of Bieber’s chart-topper “Peaches.” To recognize Omah’s talent and hard work, the NAACP Image Awards nominated him for an award for “Outstanding International Song.”

Omah Lay’s second official single of the year is the work of director K and producer P Priime. It follows the previously released “Attention” featuring Canadian global superstar Justin Bieber.
In November, he released his smooth single “Free My Mind.” In July, he released his jam “Understand,” a meditative yet danceable song laced with his signature warmth.
He appeared in Masterkraft’s remix of Bieber’s chart-topping “Peaches” in June 2021.
The 2022 NAACP Image Awards recognized all of Omah Lay’s hard work and talent with their “Outstanding International Song” nomination.
He began his career in rap under the stage name Lil King, he moved on to songwriting and music production, which were mostly uncredited. In April 2019, he released his debut single, “Do Not Disturb.”
The song “Hello Brother” came out a month later. He signed to a record label called KeyQaad and took a seven-month break.
