Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Speaker of Parliament Ms. Anita Among reassured Kawempe North MP Mr. Muhammad Ssegirinya of the full support of Parliament as he undergoes treatment for an illness. Visiting Mr. Ssegirinya at Nsambya Hospital, Ms. Among expressed Parliament’s commitment to providing both medical and psychological support for his recovery.

Speaker visits MP Ssegirinya

Ms. Among mentioned that Mr. Ssegirinya is responding well to medication, and the treatment is a continuation of the care he received abroad. She emphasized the importance of support from both Parliament and the health sector in aiding his recovery.

Acknowledging the role of private health facilities, Ms. Among praised their contribution to supporting public health centers and hospitals in providing comprehensive healthcare to Ugandans. She specifically mentioned Nsambya Hospital, Kampala Hospital, Nakasero Hospital, and others for their valuable contributions.
