In a recent conversation with Joweriah of Spark TV, he shed light on his reasoning. Alien Skin emphasized that he wishes to step aside from the music scene, citing a desire to make room for emerging artists. He reflects on the common phenomenon of younger artists criticizing established ones for lingering in the spotlight, hindering new talent from flourishing.
“Yes, it’s true I am going to retire from music.” Alien Skin said.
”It’s not a crime because I have grown up hearing younger artists blaming the older more established artists for lasting too long in the limelight and blocking their blessings.” he added, underlining his intent to pave the way for fresh talent.
In a lighthearted manner, he shared his humorous post-music plan – founding a “lawbreakers association” as a playful nod to his knack for mischief and humor. Alien Skin’s decision to retire from active music showcases his commitment to supporting a new generation of musicians.
