Educational Background and Achievements
Prof. Mgaya obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Marine Biology from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1986. In pursuit of further academic growth, he joined the National University of Ireland-Galway in 1991 and successfully completed his Ph.D. in Marine Aquaculture in 1995.
