Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT and Innovation, in collaboration with the Rwanda Convention Bureau, has joined forces with the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) to host the AWIEF2023 Conference.

KAMPALA, UGANDA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT and Innovation and Rwanda Convention Bureau have partnered with the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) for its 2023 conference.

This year’s event will mark the 9th edition of the annual AWIEF Conference, Exhibition, and Awards and will be held at the Kigali Convention Centre on November 9th and 10th, 2023.

AWIEF’s Mission to Drive Economic and Social Transformation in Africa

AWIEF was established in 2015 and has since become Africa’s leading entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology platform. The platform brings together over 1,300 entrepreneurs and startups, industry experts, thought leaders, policy drivers, and change-makers from across Government, Corporate, and Development sectors.

The goal is to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, digitization, intra-Africa trade, investing, food security, climate action, and sustainability, and ultimately, economic and social transformation in Africa.

The event includes a multi-sector exhibition, workshops, the AWIEF Awards and gala dinner, and networking opportunities. The conference provides a platform for private sector actors, experts, policymakers, and thought-leaders to discuss issues related to Africa’s inclusive economic growth and to further advance women’s economic empowerment and business leadership on the continent.
