Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Pherrie Kim, the former Club Guvnor Public Relations Officer and Publicist, had specific requests for her burial arrangements. She did not want her photos printed on any merchandise and asked mourners not to cry for her soul.
Pherrie Kim, who passed away due to brain cancer, is set to be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Katale, Seguku, at 2 p.m.
In her will, she made it clear that she did not want her images used on shirts, calendars, or any other items for her burial.
Back in 2018, on her Facebook page, Pherrie Kim expressed her thoughts on her own passing. She encouraged people not to mourn her but to be happy for her as she believed she would be in a better place. She also requested that her pictures not be used with rest-in-peace messages. She saw the human image as a temporary shell and looked forward to watching over everyone from the other side.
In her message, she asked people not to remember her and hoped that her legacy would be one of love and light in people’s hearts rather than darkness.
This unique perspective on her own passing has left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
