Kampala, Uganda | NOW THEN DIGITAL — B2C Entertainment, faced with a scheduling conflict, has decided to postpone their highly anticipated concert originally set for May 10th, 2024. This decision comes after Ray G, another artist, announced his own concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on the same date.
“It is with heartfelt regret that we would like to inform you of the postponement of our concert that was slated for 10th May 2024. A new date will be communicated as soon as it is available.”
Despite announcing their concert first, Ray G’s sudden announcement posed a challenge, leading both parties to work quickly to resolve the conflict.
B2C Entertainment addressed the situation on social media, expressing regret and informing fans of the postponement. They apologized to their loyal fans and promised to reschedule the concert, with the new date to be communicated promptly.
Ray G’s management’s decision to schedule his concert on the same date and at a larger venue initiated the clash. This marks his second concert in Kampala, following his debut at Imperial Royale Hotel in 2022. Ray G, hailing from Mbarara, has often been labeled a regional artist, leading to tensions with entertainers from Kampala.
