‘Blessings’ is set for release this Sunday, August 20.

This album, a follow-up to 2021’s ‘Made in Africa’, boasts 19 tracks and bears the creative touch of Eddy Kenzo himself as the executive producer, alongside collaborating with producers, mixing and mastering engineers, and instrumentalists.

He’s already offered a taste with the release of the initial track “Balippila Boda”.

The album, titled ‘Blessings’, is set to drop on Sunday, August 20. Today, on Friday, August 18, Eddy Kenzo, born Edrisah Musuuza, has confirmed the complete tracklist.

”Allow me introduce to you the track list of our album that’s gonna be dropping on Sunday. I thank all artists that blessed my album, all producers, mixing and mastering engineers, instrumentalists, and all great minds behind this beautiful collection,’ he tweeted.

Previously, Kenzo had initially named his album ‘POSITIVITY’, but he made a last-minute decision to rename it to ‘BLESSINGS’. His reasoning is rooted in the belief that each song on the album represents a blessing.

He’s also mentioned that the album is fully finished and will soon be available to his fanbase.

In his words, “Hey good people. Like I communicated earlier this year that I will release an album, we have changed the album title from POSITIVITY to #BLESSINGS because every song on this album is a blessing to me. However, we shall have a song titled Positivity on the album. The album is ready and it will be out very soon. We have so many reasons to celebrate. So get ready. BLESSINGS The Album (Every Song Is A Blessing),” Eddy Kenzo explained.

The album includes guest features from notable artists such as Justin Michael Williams, American musician Daniel Ho, Fik Famieca, Coco Finger, Masaka Kids Africana, and the Grammy-winning Jamaican reggae band Morgan Heritage.
