South African actress and singer Nandi Madida is set to make her mark as the new host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1, starting from Friday, June 2.

KAMPALA, UGANDA | NOW THEN DIGITAL — Nandi Madida, a renowned South African actress and singer, is set to take the reins as the new host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music.

The fourth season of Africa Now Radio, Apple Music’s first global African music radio show, has garnered immense popularity by featuring exclusive interviews with some of Africa’s biggest stars.

Artists such as Davido, Stonebwoy, Diamond Platnumz, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Nasty C, Rema, Ayra Starr, Asake, Omah Lay, and many more have graced the show, showcasing the boldest and brightest musical and production talent on the continent.

Nandi Madida host of Africa Now Radio

Introducing Nandi Madida as the new host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1, starting from Friday, 2 June. The South African actress and singer joins the popular radio show, now in its fourth season, bringing her talent and passion for African music to a global audience.

A Platform for African Music

Africa Now Radio has established itself as a platform that introduces Apple Music subscribers worldwide to Africa’s vibrant music scene. The show has featured over 130 cover stars, debuted more than 650 new releases, and brought to light over 130 of Africa’s hottest emerging artists.

From Gyakie to CKay to Lloyiso to Uncle Waffles and Pabi Cooper, Africa Now Radio continues to champion the latest African sounds across various genres, including Amapiano, Afrobeats, highlife, Alte, house, hip-hop, bongo flava, and kuduro.

Expressing her excitement, Nandi Madida shares her enthusiasm for being part of this transformative period for African music. She acknowledges the long-overdue credit that the continent is now receiving and is thrilled to celebrate Pan-Africanism with Apple Music’s global audience.
