Taddeo took to X (you know, the platform that used to be called Twitter) on December 11, 2023, to share the heartbreaking news. In his post, he paid tribute to his dad’s resilience, mentioning the five surgeries in two months and expressing a heartfelt wish for his father’s soul to rest in eternal peace.

The football community rallied around Taddeo during this tough time. The Uganda Football Association (FUFA) expressed condolences, acknowledging the loss of Mr. Vincent Mukasa, Taddeo’s father. In their statement, they sent sympathies to Taddeo and his family, hoping Mzee finds peace.

Even Taddeo’s current club, Rwanda’s APR, stood in solidarity, sharing their support on X and letting him know, “We stand with you @taddeolwanga.”

As of now, details about the burial arrangements for the late Mzee Vincent Mukasa are yet to be released.
